Bold Seal was founded in 2025 by Brandon Sheffer — a 19-year-old from Brockport who decided that Monroe County driveways deserved a sealcoating company that actually shows up on time, does the job right, and charges a fair price. This is our first full season, and we're building our reputation one driveway at a time.
Brandon's Story
Growing up in Brockport, I watched plenty of companies roll through the neighborhood — some did good work, most charged too much and moved on. When I decided to start Bold Seal, I wanted to build something different: a company that actually cares about the result, not just the invoice.
I incorporated Bold Seal, Inc. in 2025 and jumped into my first full season this year. I do every job myself — no subcontractors, no crews you've never met. When you call, you get me. When I pull up to your driveway, you know exactly who's doing the work.
I chose sealcoating because the barrier to entry is skill and hustle, not a massive equipment budget. Done right, sealcoating genuinely protects your investment — and I'd rather spend my days doing something I can be proud of than something I can't stand behind.
Our Story
Incorporated 2025. First Full Season.
Bold Seal, Inc. was officially incorporated in New York State in 2025. We're a brand-new company, and we're not pretending otherwise. What that means for you: lower overhead than the big players, pricing that's actually competitive, and an owner who's hungry to earn your five-star review.
2025–2026 is our first full operating season. We serve Monroe County and Orleans County — from Rochester's suburbs to the Lake Ontario shoreline. If you're in the area, we'd love to earn your business.
This is home. We're not a traveling crew that blows through town — we live here, we work here, and we plan to be here for the long run.
